Bell & Ross has designed exceptional Swiss watches for professionals in demanding professions since 1992. Their iconic BR Instrument design began with a simple concept – the pilot cockpit instrument clock. Concept in hand Bell & Ross went on to build a pilot watch based on a pilot's core necessities – legibility, functionality, precision and reliability.

 

Bell & Ross turned on the cockpit time machine dialing it to the 1940s for inspiration and the Instrument BR Heritage watch was unveiled. The Instrument BR01-92 Heritage case is an impressive 46 mm and features a matte black dial with an anti-reflective sapphire crystal for exceptional legibility. Super luminous pilot styled hands, hour markers, and sweep seconds in a unique sand-color add vintage appeal and superb night reading. The 316L stainless steel case is glass bead blasted and finished with a black carbon powder coating for optimal light reflection. A screw-down crown and a secured case back protect against dust and moisture and ensure a water resistance to 100 meters.

 

 

 

Bell & Ross understands a pilot's needs for precision and realiability. The Instrument BR01-92 Heritage houses the time-tested ETA 2892 caliber automatic movement which features a stop-seconds function for the sweep second hand and a power reserve of approximately 42-hours when fully wound.

The Instrument BR01-92 Heritage watch has a vintage-style tan leather strap with the Bell & Ross logo and an “Aviation Type-Military Spec” stamp to round out the 1940s esthetic. The strap secures to the wrist with a broad tang carbon-coated steel buckle. Instrument BR watch straps are easily interchangeable and a heavy duty synthetic fabric strap is also available to add versatility.

Perrelet and Lussori Present Perrelet Turbine Watch In Exclusive Showing

Fans of Perrelet timepieces, and Perrelet's dynamic new Turbine watch in particular will enjoy a fantastic exclusive opportunity in late August 2009. From August 28th through August 30th, representatives of Perrelet will be on hand at the Lussori showroom in Carmel, to present their highly-anticipated 2009 novelty to the public.

 

So far, the Perrelet Turbine watch has only been debuted live at Baselworld 2009, and the 2009 JCK industry show in Las Vegas. Lussori visitors can now experience the timepiece for themselves, and have their technical questions answered concerning this model which uses its automatic winding rotor and cutaway dial to replicate the appearance and function of a jet's turbine engines. 

Another highlight of the Perrelet event at Lussori is the attendance of Ms. Virgine Perrelet, a direct descendant of legendary Swiss horologist Abraham-Louis Perrelet. Perrelet is renowned as one of the most inventive of 18th century watchmakers; during his long career he provided influence to a number of esteemed contemporaries, including Breguet.

 

Without question, Perrelet's most famous invention remains the automatic winding mechanism, an innovation which has proven one of the most significant in the history of horology.

   

 Today, the automatic-winding mechanical movement stands as the spiritual centerpiece of Perrelet's brand identity.
